#Unboxing my delivery from Saronsberg Cellar. Sometimes I love my job 
Now for the research. So many award stickers on the Shiraz 2019, and the Full Circle 2019. Can’t wait to get stuck in to those. There’s also the Sesmic and the Saronsberg Cap Classique.
Starting off with the Seismic 2020, a superb blend of Cab Sav (46%), Merlot (20%), Cab Franc (12%), Petit Verdot (11%) and Malbec (11%). It went perfectly well with my favorite Chicken Madras curry from The Indian Chapterin Blouberg last night. Tonight I’ll see how it pairs with my now famous mushroom risotto. That’s what happens when you cook a good dish once – it becomes your overnight signature.
Cellar door price for the Seismic is R190 which makes it a great cellar staple. It’s a casual everyday wine, and it makes for a decent dinner accompaniment, or one to pop in a gift bag to impress your host when you’re bringing a bottle with you. I love it.
From here it only gets better, because next up is the Shiraz, and then after a short break, the Full Circle.
