I haven’t done one of these in way too long.
Decided to fathom the wine cellar’s deepest darkest corners and pull out something I haven’t had on a while. A visit to Fairview Wine and Cheese a few months ago, and a lot of wine that a accompanied me home after the Masters tasting where I walked away with the day’s leftover Cyril Back in a plastic bottle, came to mind when I discovered the tray of Fairview wines waiting patiently to be revisited. I retrieved this Bloemcool Tinto Fino 2018.
It smells peppery with a smidgeon of old library, and drinks like delving deep into a forgotten dusty ancient novel.
