Marianne Cape of Good Hope Rosé 2020 – lovely light wine for a day in the kitchen. Went down exceptionally well while making the best lamb curry I’ve ever produced plus my rotisserie chicken, and throw in a to-die-for mushroom risotto. Also goes down exceptionally well with some popcorn made with virgin coconut oil (not the odorless one).
And then to follow that, this lovely Diemersfontein Thokozani 2020, a blend of Shiraz, Mourvédre and Viognier. A lovely deep red blend that turns silky smooth and compliments everything on the menu – my menu that is, the one I was working on yesterday in the kitchen. It also goes really well with a late nite movie.
