Casual dining is dining too. Somehow Jo’burg beats Cape Town when it comes to being able to find a good quality casual restaurant, just about anywhere.
While running frantic with wedding plans, squeezing in a modicum of simultaneous unrelated crises, as happens with the week before a wedding, we poppped into Mezzepoli – Melrose Arch for lunch and demolished some items from the Mezze menu – Spanakopita, grilled halloumi, squid heads and the star of the show today, Cod Goujons with aioli, best fish I’ve had in Jo’burg in a long time.
