This is one way to get that last bit of orange zest you need to finish your olive marinade. Ask a friend if he’s got a spare orange, and when he brings it over you know a bottle of wine is going to get opened.
This is a big hitter from De Grendel Wine and Restaurant. I bought a few of these when I visited the estate a few months ago and I’ve been keeping these to share with wine lovers.

While I’m talking about De Grendel, here are some pics of lunch at the restaurant. It’s a beautiful estate between Milnerton and Durbanville, a stone’s throw from my home. I took Annie there for our 9th wedding anniversary in Feb this year.
I’m not going to label every dish, the pictures speak a thousand words. It was delicious and memorable.
