Mother’s Day lunch at George’s Greek Grill (can’t tag them – there are quite a few in FB) at The Neighbourhood, Jo’burg was superb. Didn’t take food pics, but pics of the mothers instead since it was the day to honour the moms.
I actually sent the Chardonnay I ordered by tue glass back – not going to name and shame, but the salad dressing tasted less like vinegar. I replaced the fail with this one since I had seen their ad in my FB feed earlier (see, marketing actually works sometimes). Stellenbosch Winery Chardonnay 2020 – it rescued lunch, went very well with a dozen prawns and some yummy Greek dips and pita.
