This is another of the Fairview Wine and Cheese Bloemcool wines – Berg en Dal Maanskyn Steen – but of a mouthful of you try say it after a few glasses.
The colour is a dusky shade because, hazy like the red I posted yesterday. It’s on the tart side but in a good way, described by the winemaker as “broad with layers of fruit, zest and fynbos and a fresh finish with the slightest bit of grip which will age well.”
I find it very refreshing and because of the natural process and lack of wood, you get a unique hit on the palette.
